So there was some recent joshing about disc golf, but this weekend while at Elon lillestAPM and I grabbed a disc that was laying around lilAPM's off campus house and we went out to toss it. It had probably been at least 10 years, maybe more since APM has tossed a Frisbee.
DAYUM.
Once we both got dialed in that was fun as sh*t! And we have a pretty decent couple of disc golf courses around here.
APM is thinking he might need to work on his chops and try some dancing with the disc.

Been playing since 2019 and while my dinks are not perfect - they do pretty well. I’m told by my mixed doubles partner that my dinks are quite nice being both effective and visually appealing. She prefers my dinks over previous partners but I sometimes think she says that to whom ever she is playing with at the time. And she has had a lot of partners.

Me and Mcjr threw the frisbee last night. We hits about 40 baseballs the night before. Pickleball on the new concrete was last week.

....my old hippie friend and colleague from back in the film and video days ditched his Carolina beach life and bought some land about an hour outside Denver, around an old mining town at really high elevation, turned it into a disc golf course with his girlfriend Beth.

yeah yeah I know, watches disc golf constantly. He props his phone up on some paper towels and watches it while we drank. He plays a lot also. But man. Geeesh. I have watched some with him tho.
