Today was a really sad day for me

I don't really give a hoot about any football team except Clemson. So, FSU as a fb team means little to me. What does mean a great deal to me is honesty and fairness. I know life is not always fair.

Colluding with a TV network to set up a college FB playoff to help tv ratings, by doing something that had never been done, excluding a 13-0 power 5 conference champion from the CFP and lying about why it was done, has taken a lot of the joy out of the sport for me.

I will never see the game of college FB again as being a game where going undefeated means you are among the best. To me, the game has lost what little integrity it had left. Anyone connected to the game should be raising holy hello about what happened today. The fact they are not speaks volumes about what college football has become. We all knew it was driven by money. Today just proved it beyond a shadow of doubt.

What saddens me even more is that instead of it being FSU, it could just as easily have been the only team I really care about...The Clemson Tigers.
