It would be nice but I dont think this group has the juice to do it. Very happy if I'm proven wrong though

BB team is"doomed?" So what else is new? We have facilities second to none, tons of money. But, we still can't win on any consistent basis, and probably never will. First of, we can't recruit, and probably never will be able to. Brad Brownell is a nice guy, but is not a winner for Clemson. But who is to replace him in what is a wasteland for BB? Rather than continue to be a punching bag for the talents in the ACC, drop the sport and put the money into football. We find ways to lose. As for "heartbreaking" last minute losses, especially to nothing teams like Miami, a loss is still a loss, still goes into the L column. Who can blame Clemson fans for not going to the games? Give it up.

Brilliant loss by this team last night. If you lose a game that nobody is watching, did you really lose at all?

Yeah, it's still a loss. If a tree falls in the forest, and there's no one there to hear it, is there still a sound? Yes, the sound waves still exist, and the squirrels and rabbits still hear it.

i think if we lose at pitt or at notre dame we're bounced

out though. I would have thought it harder to win at ND or Pitt than Miami.
That's also assuming we lose to unc, cuse, fsu, and louisville. If we can get a win among that group we might still have a chance.

Why would we even want to go to the tournament where we will obviously be humiliated?

It's hilarious to see the responses to a positive opinion

about our basketball program from an expert. Jay Bilas says we're an NCAA Tournament team, and TigerNet posters immediately respond negatively: he's wrong, Brownell is an idiot, we stink, etc.
In contrast, a national expert says something positive about our football program, and our coaches are amazing, our players are amazing, and everyone is flying high.
If I didn't know better, I would think that some of you actually want our basketball program to be unsuccessful.

You are absolutely wrong. I would love for our basketball program to be successful. I used to go to basketball games, but once I realized how much the program stunk, and that the university was doing nothing to correct the situation, I stopped going. I've given up on BB, so I really don't care what they do or don't do anymore. I hope they give BB a lifetime contract, which will ensure our continued mediocre, losing ways. Fortunately, I could care less. I don't even watch the games, so I'll leave that to you.
