Last weekend they just rolled over. I’m encouraged by the hitting I saw. It’s not much if you look at other box scores around the country, but stringing together hits and hitting when it matters is encouraging from a team that has been doing the opposite.

I’m optimistic that we still take the series

I'd like to see the stat of how many times we get to 2 outs, 2 strikes and let a team back in the game. Seems like ever since Louisville, we can't get past strike 2 to win games or get out of innings.

Every single hit FSU got in the ninth came with the hitter having 2 strikes on them. You can’t get ahead in the count only to leave a pitch too much over the plate with 2 strikes. It is so frustrating to watch sometimes.

That’s a lack of true quality pitching ! Elite pitchers never give in like that with 2 strike counts . We are lacking that quality of pitching .

FSU was always gonna be a tough series. They beat themselves last night and alot lately. Much better performance than the previous three. Base running has been bad. Have to clean that up. Go Tigers!
