Seriously mutiple loses can be put solely on him. Texas, the chickens, Louisville and Pitt ran straight at him every time he was in the game. Kid is like charm holding water when it comes to the run.

That’s unfair to say it was on one player because I saw the entire d line getting dominated except for SC game and we held our on but didn’t tackle.

Be they game planned to run right at him. Louisville was the first to do it. He isn’t really even serviceable. He is a liability. Teams know he sucks. Period.

When fully healthy, our best 4 linemen were: Parker, Tre Williams, Demonte Capehart, Woods (Page is so physically powerful and did make plays, but he has particularly bad knowledge of what gaps to fill). When Woods was out, I'd put in Lawson there. For substitutes, I would have taken Hoffler.
I do think of our 3 deep, Cade Denhoff was the worst player by far. That said, I don't think losses can be pinned on him. Our entire scheme led to players being out of position and holes in the line. Cade had bad technique which let him get outmaneuvered, but it's not just on him because other players didn't have a sense of where to line up.

He was bad , but not on him at all, our offensive playcalling and execution was terrible in all those games you mentioned.That being said, I watched the Citadel ( my second favorite school) run up and down on us, and if you go back and check it out , they ran over , through, and around Peter woods. The defensive game plan after the UGA game was a head scratcher if you ask me.No consistency and or adjustments.

Indeed!
Not comparing the overall potential of Denhoff to this other late developing DE of our recent past, but the historical reference bears out your comment.
KJ Henry didn’t accomplish much until his final season with us in 2022. It really came together for KJ in his final year.
Denhoff had his first extensive PT in 2024. At the very least, Denhoff knows from experience where his deficiencies are, and has the off season to improve himself in those areas.
I’m expecting a very capable DE in Denhoff in 2025. He won’t be TJ Parker-esque, but he’ll be much better in 2025 than 2024.

Correct, he's not good at all. But Lawson has linebacker size, no quickness, and gets pushed all over the field. We got who we got which is one DE.
