Based off what we know about NFL players (and to some extent college players) of being wife/girlfriend beaters... I'd say there's a high probability there's at least one person on the field that doesn't care.

If she can improve, and she's a viable option, why not?

If she's willing to tackle people or take a hit, I don't see an issue.

Would she want a seperate locker room?
Would it spark outrage the first time she was knocked out of a game by a vicious hit?
Would it be unfair to treat her like one of the guys?
Your post sounds very good and we are all equal....but in reality, physically we are not and that's how people get hurt.
Just not something I think would trend in a good direction

If she jumps into a game, she knows the consequences. Football is a physical sport, and I'm sure she is well aware of the dangers.
As for a locker room, I have no idea. I would tell her she's no different and if she wants to play, she'll have to do things the same as everyone else.

If it works that way, then I would be more inclined to agree with you.
I'm not trying to be some macho idiot...I'm just saying that there are so many things that would need to be answered and done fairly.
I always hear feminists and other groups say "women can participate in anything that men can". Then a woman is finally let in and immediately there are "special" circumstances made for them...if everyone abides by the same rules then fine, but if not then its bad

Miles said that she just can't tackle. Not that many kickers are stellar at it anyway but I've seen many TD's averted by a last ditch effort of a tackle by the kicker on a Kickoff or punt. Obviously, she can't do that even to the mediocre level that we expect out of kickers. End of story.

Yeah....whole new can of worms there. Although I think Coach Miles probably would flat out say 'you would never be doing any kickoffs and/or punts'...just too much potential for injury. Heck even on field goals in close games.
Weird situation. She's a hot mess a 6'1" though :P. Simple minds and all...

wrestle a female if she got past the next match. He was so nervous and had no idea what to do, does he go all out or take it easy? He will be dogged if he takes it easy as to "you couldn't pin a girl" and if he gets rough, he'd be "man can't believe you hurt a girl" Luckily she lost and he didn't have to do any.
