It’s everything. We win about 1 out of every 5 first round tournament games. Didn’t start today. The only potential we have is to lose in the first round of any tournament we play in every year. Nit acc ncaa. Lots of data.

There have been 90 ncaa champions. More than half the time a team has won it for the first time. Past is not prologue and their is no ceiling on what Clemson can do in basketball.

I didn’t argue we were. There are a subset of Brownell backers who openly admit that they don’t think Clemson is capable of winning championships and support him because they think he’s the best we can ever have.

Our last 3? When did TDP retire? I don’t think he was gonna start a new search two years in. And Brownell was a desperate, scramble hire after Stansbury embarrassed him. DRad was a terrible AD and Neff is a child who doesn’t want to hurt daddy’s feelings. Embrace the suck. You’re certainly part of the problem.

Those season tickets are doing great when midweek games are at half attendance even when we were still in position to win the ACC - because everyone is sick of the Brownell rug pull. Elevating him to one of the highest paid coaches in the country and giving him a $300k bonus for this postseason is abhorrent. He’s never given a thing back to the program. Tony Bennett donated millions to UVA after winning a title and never made as much as Brad will on his current contract, much less what he’s gone make after his next raise. It’s ridiculous.

If you can’t grasp that the people gleefully saying “thank you, can I have another?” are steering this ship that is your lack of critical thinking. Brownell has earned clout with second tier donors by being available to glad-hand the premium seat holders. He is extremely good at looking out for himself. Keep putting a man ahead of the program because of your grudges with anons on the internet or urge to feel important. At the end of the day you are the one that believes Clemson has less potential than I do. You’re welcome to that hill.

JFC - you’ve spent untold amounts of digital ink defending the man on here. Don’t try and change the subject. You have wholly endorsed him. You literally stalk me on this message board mostly for posting actual facts about his tenure. You don’t want to lose your seat priority to stage a protest that’s well and good, but don’t act like you have gone full in the tank for him as the best thing possible for Clemson basketball.

You aren’t “defending the program” if someone posts very specific information about Brownell’s tenure and your rebuttal is to describe, in great detail, just how awful everything about the program has historically been. You have way less respect for Clemson or “the program” than I do, regardless of how long you’ve owned season tickets. It seems to have simply made you resent the program and your fellow fans.

Sadly, I don't see it. NIL, Portal, recruiting, weak ACC, makes no difference. Clemson still sucks in bball. Also, CBB is the senior coach in the league. Younger coaches in and outside the league make him look silly.
