This is gonna stink if Bama gets in

AGAIN! With no conference championship.
Go Auburn! Eliminate the Tide. If not - then (and I hate to say it) - Go Dawgs!

Don’t care who gets in as long as we do. We will beat all comers.

I want to play Alabama again. We will beat them. Our only competition is LSU and Ohio State. Ohio State looks more complete to me but Brent can make them look weak!

I'd love to play a tua-less Bama team in the playoffs.

Bama is FINISHED

I don't know what to think about that except it doesn't make much of a difference to our path.
The committee knows bama is prone to getting beat in the first round. But what they don't know is that Jake Fromm and that offense is not scaring anyone.

The one's who'll have a legit gripe if Bama gets in is whatever conference gets left out....again.
I'm sick of Bama, too, but we're better this year and they're worse (with a healthy Tua). Nothing to fear there (not that there ever was).

If LSU beats UGA they will stay #1 Assuming OSU and Clemson win out there is a fight for #4
If the committee puts Alabama #4 there will be a very real argument for a 6 or 8 team playoff and I don't think the committee wants that. Also, Alabama and LSU have already played each other - the last time we had a replay of that it was a snoozefest.

I do not want Bama to get into the CFP, therefore preventing Saban from possibly getting another NC title. I think he's chasing Bear Bryant, and I want Dabo to do that before Saban can win another title.
Go Auburn, and Go Dawgs, and Go Utes ("Did you say Utes?"), and go Oklahoma, and go OSU. These teams need to prevent Bama from rising from the ashes this year.

Everyone already knows how this will go down, they've set the stage for forever once they ranked Bama at 5.
Top 4 will be
1. LSU 2. Ohio State/Clemson 4. Bama
After what I've seen with UGA I don't see them beating LSU and scoring with them, they could have a historic day and knock them off but the media will be salivating at the chance to have the "Rematch of the Rematch of the Century" and have LSU vs. Bama part 2 in Atlanta. If I'm a non SEC member and you told me I had to have 2 SEC teams in the playoff my vote would be to have them play one another so you only have one in the Championship because an all SEC National Championship would be a total snoozer for ratings. I also wouldn't be shocked to see Michigan beat Ohio State in the Big House and then Ohio State just destroy either Minnesota or Wisconsin in the Big 10 Championship again but it still sets up for the same matchup.
Clemson beats Ohio State in the early game, good game ~14-17 point victory with a score late pulling away and once again Saban with 4 weeks to prepare, with a backup quarterback beats LSU in the semi-final and we have Clemson Bama once again in the natty. Everyone says the pressure is all on Clemson and if we win there is an asterisk next to this championship. Finebaum picks Alabama because it's Finebaum and once again little ole Clemson wins another natty. 30-0 back to back national championships and the narrative is that Ohio State was gassed from playing a tougher schedule, Chase young was prepping for the NFL draft, if Tua wasn't injured it would have been different, we wouldn't have beaten LSU in New Orleans, etc. etc. etc.
But for now sit back, enjoy the ride, one game at a time and let's beat the Chickens!

I just don't see Bama beating Auburn, even if Tua was healthy it would be close. These talking heads say Jones can just throw slants and screens and let the WR do the rest. Yes....against Arkansas or W.Carolina. But not against Auburn or UGA or LSU, definitely not OSU or Utah or Clemson.
I don't see them getting by Auburn, even if they do, its barely and I think a 1-loss Big 12 or Utah jumps them for the CFP.
**Remember** the only reason non-champ Bama got in in 2017 was the next best team was a 2 loss OSU. This year there may be two 1-loss conference champs. Those are suppose to be given the nod over non-champs per CFP protocols.

Unless Gus Malzhan has lost the team, Auburn should be fired up and salivating at the prospect of playing Alabama.
It all depends on Mac Jones and Bo Nix. If neither guy crumbles under the pressure, should be a close one.
