also I'm sad to see that exit get converted. a lot of memories from around there

... My first Bucees trip was in Alabama before Covid and I associated Bucees with I-10 area. but it's spreading north for sure

If bucees comes to Anderson it’ll be awhile. State won’t approve funding for the reconstruction of the exit. And I honestly am not sure if I want anymore traffic in the area as it’s getting ridiculous. That road already has tripled the traffic it had 10 years ago.

My wife grew up on Midway Rd off 81 in Anderson and the way the county has allowed that road to be ra/ped and pillaged is disgraceful. Older folks cashing out and selling 100 acre fields to out of state developers has absolutely destroyed what made this area a great place to grow up. Developers bearing zero responsibility for roads getting destroyed/flooding/ schools getting overcrowded. They just x5 their money and move on to the next community .

Ha! Try checking out Summerville with Boeing, Mercedese, Volvo, Walmart Distribution, Amazon, etc. Then add in Google x2, add in iKea, Guillan, etc, etc and you have chaos. I am going to sell my house soon which was in a Subdivision called ##$$### Farms because ppl had chickens, horses, and big lots. Now its surrounded by construction on every side and traffic is insane. I am outty!
