splurge on when it comes to clothes and what items are you a cheapass?
I splurge on shoes/boots and jackets. I go quality brands, top shelf stuff only. Almost all leather, 90% of my footwear is leather. All my jackets are top line too, except for some throwaway Clemson Nike crap I have procured from well-placed friends for free.
Cheapass on pants, shirts and underwear. Pants I really don't care because I ruin so many working on the farm, stupid to invest in quality. Shirts same thing, especially the "modern" fabrics that pull like panty hose if you lean up against a wall or desk. Underwear I go for whatever Marshall's has in the clearance racks.

The team with the shortest name and smallest logo, because that’s less embroidery to weaken the fabric.

And my draws are armachillo's at $30/each. They are difficult to stain in black.

Dress shirts are whatever is on-sale at JCrew Outlet when

my wife decides to buy something. Usually I get them in the $15-20 range. I probably have 30 of them in the closet and most are still in good shape, no need to buy more.
Pants - I buy good brands on sale. Mountain Khakis usually.
Shoes - Work I have a few pairs of decent Lems boots, got a really good deal on the synthetic ones, and also have the full leather ones.
Jackets - All Patagucci, sometimes I resell them on eBay
Underwear - Whatever wife buys when she is shopping somewhere and feels bad for not getting me something. Patagonia Boxer Briefs are the absolute best, but I only own two pairs of them.
Bulk Adidas black no-show socks from Dck's for running. Random other socks that wife buys when she is shopping somewhere and feels bad for not getting me something is what I wear to the office.
Suits - LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Nope

my screen printed tuxedo t-shirts. My only beef is that you cannot get them sleeveless, I hate to waste such fine material cutting sleeves off. Though they do make for good boat wax applicators.

APM is all over the place on clothes. Most cheap though.

Almost never fashionable.
But there are exceptions.
I do spend a lot on shoes - running, hiking, office.
I have some fairly expensive athleisure items - Vuori shorts, Smartwool base layers, etc.
I have some higher-end stuff like a Patagucci fleece.
I enjoy Smartwool socks for both hiking and casual wear.
But that's about it and much of my wardrobe is 5-10 years or older.
