Suggestion for dealing with coot fans who talk about schedules.

I used this back in the 1990s when FSU (Bowden) and UF (Spurrier) were wining 9+ games every year.

UF fan would say, "But, our schedule is much tougher than yours. Look at our strength of schedule."

I would reply, "Of course it is. You play us; that raises yours. We play you; that lowers ours."

Or, a shorter version. "Well, at least this week I agree with you. You are playing a far more difficult team than we are."

I can answer. Zero. Wish it wasn’t true but Florida is playing some good ball. Still believe Ga. dodged a bullet with Lagway going down.

Slim, but not impossible.

It is more likely to be a 25+ point victory for UF than a win for us. But, a win is possible. Here is what would have to all work in our favor.

1. Game is in Tally.
2. Lagway's first start on the road.
3. Lagway is still not 100% from his hamstring injury.
4. It is a rivalry game.

Luke Kromenhauk would have to play well. Get rid of ball quick. Don't let the rush rattle him.

FSU would have to slow down the UF rushing game and force Lagway to throw the ball 25+ times.

FSU would have to win the turnover battle by 2 or more.

All 3 would have to happen to keep it close into the 4th quarter, then you have a chance.

Not likely, but not impossible. Line started at 13.5. I heard this morning it is 16.

If you end up plus 4 in the TO battle it could happen. Fla. looks really good the last couple of ball games. Hoping for the upset!

It would also help if your receivers caught the ball.

I’ve already played with a family member. TAMU and Missouri suck. What else you got? Nada.

Don’t talk to them
Ignore them
Just laugh and keep moving

All very easy to do

It doesn’t matter, why are people so insecure about our schedule, it is weak, so what? We still get in the playoffs if we beat the coots.

I wouldn't mention Bowden to try and prove anything. He's the guy that said it would be crazy to go over there and play that schedule, lobbied to go to the ACC for an easy schedule instead of joining the SEC and the very reason FSU is stuck in the ACC suing to try and get out.
