Setting our pitching staff up for the regional is way more important than pitching Knaack today. He is set up to pitch this Saturday if we make it and the following Saturday which is the important day of the regional. So to sum it up next weekend is 100x more important this weekend

That doesn't make sense. If we pitched knacck today or Saturday he is still going to be available to pitch the first game of a regional. This is the most important game of the regional so why not just throw him today?

BEcause Knaack pitched 4 days ago...There is no reason to get him off his schedule and routine just to pitch in a tournament that does not matter and holds no bearing to our regionals...Bakich made the right call here...blame Darden for not being able to get out of the 2nd inning...

The thing is can Clemson hold onto the national seed with a loss to Miami? Virginia is playing well and wouldn’t be surprised if they took the Clemson’s top 8 spot.

Broadcasters said before the game that Clemson and unc aren't really at risk of losing their National seed slots no matter the outcome of this tournament
