I don’t watch a ton, but a couple of observations.
I think it should be a strike when the girl starts moving out of the box for a drag bunt or swinging hit even when she doesn’t swing and the ball is outside the zone
The field is way too small. In no world should a hard chopper to 3rd be anywhere near a close play at first
Also, maybe call me crazy, but I think it’s extremely unsportsmanlike the way they overzealously celebrate the small things like base hits or strikeouts.
Maybe softball isn’t your sport. The smaller field makes it exciting. Slappers are moving on every pitch so your comment doesn’t really make much sense - try running towards a 70 mph pitch and trying to hit it. I do agree the giddiness over some plays is a little much but that’s just the game. It’s not baseball!
