So far, it's been worse than even I imagined...

When you count up all the damage that's been done, it's been incredible.
1) Tariff games that will eventually hit prices and force a recession...just a matter of time.
2) The implementation of a Police State: Legal immigrants targeted for political reasons, and jailed without charges. Immigrants sent to overseas prisons with no charges or due process. In some cases, even citizens are harassed by ICE-types.
3) And now a war with a country that has 90 million people.
4) A bill worming its way through Congress that will gut the ACA & hurt Medicaid, while giving tax cuts to people that don't need it, and driving up our debt even more.
5) Court orders ignored.
That's just a few of the things that are outrageous that now seem to happen as if they're normal.
And you know who I blame at this point? I blame the GOP, and the MAGAts in congress. They have the power to put an end to these tariffs, and they have the power to impeach and remove this "President". They have the power to put a stop to this. And they're either fully on board with him, or they're too afraid to do their job.
We need a Democratic led congress like a crackhead needs a pipe. Only then will there even be the slightest pushback from the Legislative Branch. There has to be somewhere to start. The 2026 elections are where it begins for me.

DJT is forced from office. Last night’s actions lost him yet another chunk of his coalition. He had already lost some minorities over immigration, some business owners over immigration, and some union people over DOGE and perceived betrayals like US Steel.

He will never be forced from office unless the Dems just cleaned house in the midterms. He would also have to mess up a lot more than he has now. What would be the reasoning for his impeachment and vote to boot from office?

He certainly qualifies. I don’t know the mechanics of that, I assume the same thing, that the Dems would have to gain a lot of ground in congress.

No CIC in my lifetime has made my life any better. None. Just more restrictions, regulations, government monitoring, and overall intrusion in my life. Unlike most. I need less government and more liberty in my life. I voted for Trump over Clinton, Biden, and Harris as the lesser of 3 evils. But he is far from my savior and I am certainly not in any cult. All that said. I didn't and don't wake up doom scrolling or let the clowns in DC dictate my every mood. Mt point still stands. Some need to take a long walk and breath thru the nose.
