serious question about MB..

When was the last time you have heard a good player dismissed due to bad academics? Imagine all of the support these guys have in tutoring.

More important question...

What schools hold academic integrity in high esteem? I'm proud of my Alma Mater for putting what truly matters over an arrogant, undisciplined player. Flame away, but I said when we were recruiting Bellamy, that I thought he was cocky, and immature, and that if he didn't change we wouldn't see him for long. Clemson doesn't normally go after guys like him (in terms of attitude), and I think Dabo will think twice in the future about going after a kid with his mentality. Football is a team sport. Bellamy was not a team player. I'm glad he's gone. No more distractions for the rest of the team. Time to move on.

Totally counterproductive response, and not helpful to our recruiting efforts. You come across as pompous and judgemental. You and other extremists on this line don't help Clemson, and convey an image of rigid judgementalism.

He had an opportunity most of us could only dream of and threw it all away. He was nothing but trouble.

He sped his tail end straight off the team in record time. I knew it was a bad sign when he punked around after that first TD against Troy. Hope the kid grows up some, but we don't need problems on the football team. It goes totally against Dabo's MO and what he is trying to create.

So what is your point? Players everywhere fail to make their grades. Are you suggesting something suspicious? If so, why? This happens everywhere. These kids so often are simply not prepared to do college-level work, or lack the motivation to do so. I wish him the very best, and maybe at some point he can return to Clemson. I cannot imagine anyone getting down on him. Absurd.

Honestly, I have not heard much about high profile players (five stars) that kicked out due to acadamics. I know it happens but do you have high profile players names?

What's your point? Are you denying that it never happens with other highly rated players?? And, I don't have to give you names to make a common sense point. Get the hexx off your high horse.
