You might not get tickets this season even if you are. I got everybody in our family to get in the lottery for Greenville tickets for this summer. Maybe one of us gets lucky and I get to go.

The Bananas started out as the Gastonia Grizzlies playing college wood bat in the Coastal Plains League and we would go to 3 or 4 games every summer. They put on a fantastic show with college kids and usually has at least one Clemson player every year, but it hadn't yet evolved into what the Bananas are now. Gastonia decided to build a new downtown stadium and kicked the Grizzlies to the curb in favor of an independent minor league team...which the city has now kicked to the curb because the team couldn't pay its bills. Gastonia currently sits teamless and Grizzlies moved to Savannah and became the hottest attraction in baseball.

I miss the Grizzlies, trash can nachos served in a 31-gallon stainless steel trashcan lid, doughnut dogs and doughnut burgers, and by far the best and cheapest craft beer garden of any Charlotte metro area sports team.
