wow just wow . how many CK2 passes were drops and incompletes due to WR size and lack of jump ball fight.
i'm so so so happy for Wesco and Moore . they will be the difference maker (why . in HS they've outperformed our entire WR room since 2021. raw talent and eye tests always win)
this 2024 Tigers team is about to be 🔥

I hope he can get a supporting cast that will help maximize his talent.

I also hope that he develops a lot more from a mental standpoint. The game needs to slow down for him. He needs to go through his progressions, have better situational awareness and make better decisions. He has a lot of the physical tools to be great but he needs to process things better mentally.

and never looked their way. No guarantee some of those guys would catch it even if he dropped a dime though.

When you look at it objectively, a part of the offensive production problem can be attributed to Cade not reading the defense quickly enough and not having good pocket awareness. He needs to work on both of those things.
A much larger issue was receivers not getting seperation and dropping balls that hit them in the hands. Also, the offensive line getting blown up and missing blocks contributed to a big portion of our problems

Fumbles and missed field goals cost us two of the games.

I was thinking the same thing. We had so many catchable balls, but we just didnt have the right players in the team or healthy. Wesco, Moore, and more experienced and healthy Randall, and Turner stretching the field should be huge. That will open some things underneath as well. By mid season I expect an amazing offense. Hopefully its sooner than that though.

No idea why they didn’t get a sure thing at WR from the portal to go along with the freshman. Just one guy. Now they have to depend on the freshman to make big plays. Not a sure thing at all.

Adam Randall , Antonio Williams, Josh Soap, Tyler Brown ... these guys can play WR too
i have a feeling this might be a 2010-2017 built WR room

Nothing wrong with believing. If Adam Randle has a big turnaround I think the best you can hope for is a 2020 type group without TL.

I actually think Henry will pass Sapp. You started seeing him more at the end of the season.

Brock Bowers, maybe not that elite...but anything close to that level is a vast improvement and will help CK tremendously.
Georgia will be a monster test to start the season, cautiously optimistic about that game.

it'll be a big time game requiring no time to learn
Josh Sapp and the Florida guys on the team will know how to play them (i'm expecting Adam Randall to go off next season too)
i have a feeling Wesco is a Texas finess type
i think it might be a 🔒 just the personnel will matter . a lot of the 2022-2023 team won't see much PT

Yes, new blood at wr and a real OL coach should give Cade a lot more security to excel.

There were issues with the WR not getting open and dropping balls they should have caught.
I'm talking easy routing catches, not the highlight reel catches, but there were also very few highlight reel catches.
There were also issues with CK not reading the defense and not being able to find open receivers.
Hopefully both improve.
I'm thinking CK might improve but we got what we got with the current receiver group.
The thing that pisses me off about the receivers and thinks we should move on from the current group is they refuse to block.
A receiver who won't block should be sitting.

You mean like Ladson and Ngata were going to outperform our Higgins and others?

I don’t get why nobody picks up on this and want to blame Cade fully. Of course he’s going to make bone head plays when he can’t trust his OL or his WRs to help him.
