Regarding the biased officiating in the Louisville game, you need to understand.

Some may think it was about the Tobacco Road hierarchy wanting to keep Clemson 'down'... After all, Clemson has absolutely dominated the ACC in football for over a decade. No way can they be allowed to possibly infringe in basketball, too. Clemson made the Elite Eight last year. That's enough 'winning' in basketball. Winning the ACC tournament would constitute an impermissible 'turning of the tide'. This all has possibilities, but that's not the pertinent reason.
Some may attribute it to wanting this year's resurgent Louisville team with their Coach-of-the-Year Kelsey and "All-World" guard Hepburn and the storyline it creates or maybe the viewership it generates in the Louisville TV market. Again, possibilities, but not the reason.
No, this came down to ONE THING and ONE THING, ONLY! Clemson was the only ACC team to beat Duke during the season and they did it with Flagg in the lineup... No way were they going to allow that matchup again and threaten Duke's #1 seed in the NCAA tournament. NO WAY!
Duke had a much better chance of dealing with Louisville's back court than dealing with Clemson's front court.
That's the explanation for what happened, plain and simple. There was unabashed ref bias on display for all to see. Kersey knows it.

Nice conspiracy. It wasn't even a factor.

It wouldn’t have mattered if we beat Duke in ACC title they would have still been a 1 seed. I mean auburn lost in the semis of SEC tourney and lost 1 or 2 games to end the season and still got the 1 overall seed. Can’t hang on this game must move on and worry about Mcneese. Go Tigers!!

Maybe, but it would have certainly brought it into question. AS to "move on",

Don't forget we put a signed "ACC sucks" note in the suggestion box with the lawsuit. That buys you nothing on the equality sale rack.

You are 100% correct. The officiating was obvious from the start of calling fouls on Clemson and not Louisville. They did not want Clemson playing Duke as we would have beat them especially two starters down from when we beat them before. The ending of the game was an example of what went on from the start. Brownell should have gotten himself a technical early on in objecting to this but he should smiles like some big teddy bear.

I agree re Brownell... An early one might have eliminated the late calls. Maybe.***
