RB starter and depth this year?

I’m feeling very good about both sides of the ball less the RB position. I had hoped we would add some depth/talent via the portal here but not much activity.

Anyone else concerned with running the ball. Not much experience with Mafah gone.

I'm not that concerned. We've got two highly regarded guys coming in and a few that have done well when they've gotten on the field. No idea why we refused to play anyone last season but I'd chalk it up to other reasons than everyone on the roster, other than Phil sucking. Besides, we have most of our oline returning so some holes will hopefully be there regardless of who's carrying the ball.

I'm hoping the OL progresses so we can get Mafah type production out of someone who's not quite as skilled as Mafah yet. Don't need to put all the pressure on a young RB. Having Cade and successful passing game will help pull LBs and Safeties back into coverage. There are a lot of experienced guys on this team that can carry extra load to help out the RB room.

Randall as co-starter would be a cool story.

If Haynes weren't coming off injury I'd say he'd probably be starter. Gideon coming in + EZE hopefully taking a step means we'll be in good hands come fall.

Might take a few games but someone is gonna separate from the pack. Would love to have two RBs as co-starter.
