Predictably, NIL has ruined college football already

10 players standing around not wanting to play while one guy making cash throws the football. The jealousy and lack of motivation is obvious. We suck this year and nothing is going to cure it. Coaches , including Dabo are obtuse. I’m thinking college football as a whole is doomed.

You only see what you want to see? You didn't see that?
I'm sure you'll say that looking good in fancy, duded up outfits post-game is NO indication of NIL's influence on the game.
That duded up look sure seems to me to be someone who is enjoying his NIL dough, and he is probably spending quite a bit of time figuring out how to spend that money. Not as much time thinking about how to get that ball to "less fortunate" receivers.

You have a point lol!
But, money could be part of DJs woes.
The first time I turned on a game, up pops the DJ Dr Pepper commercial and I started worrying about the season.
Al probably figured out a way to weaponize it so everybody shares, while of course building their brand…

Everywhere else companies will realize it's a waste of money. Nobody cares about college football players endorsements outside the SEC. And you got risky busts like DJU that can backfire.
