Yes, it's early and the starters are limited in innings, but they need to be better than this. They have to have better options for the third spot than LeGuernic.

There will be. By mid season the pitching will look light years different than it does now. The staff is dealing with a lot of injuries

Also since you know about injuries why hasn’t creighton played? I know he was suspended game 1 but thought he might be in the lineup today or yesterday

If they are good enough, and better than the next guy, they should play early and often. If they aren’t better than the older guys, then they may need more time. I hope that’s the way our coach sees to, too.

Did they ever find out the extent of Moehler's injury? Hoping it was minor, really thought he could've came in and had an impact Fr year like Knaak did last year.

Many injuries on staff and leg will throw again. Eb isn’t gonna just let one bad outing dictate a kid. I hate how spoiled are fans are and don’t know how hard it is and the ins and outs. Relax it’s game 3. Crighton has been banged up a little from my understanding

Deroberts… why do you have to be such a prick bro? Every post I see you make you’re calling somebody names or acting like bc they question something that they’re stupid?
Bro we’re fans… all of us… you included… fans are going to question decisions regardless of sport… that doesn’t make them stupid or know it alls…
If you follow every coach blindly then so be it that’s your prerogative. But calling people stupid and idiots and all the other condescending stuff you say is ridiculous.
It’s a message board… what are message boards for if not to discuss? You need to take a Xanax and just relax bro.

Bakich-lead teams always seem to be playing their best baseball come April and May. They will get this rotation and bullpen figured out. We can still come back but going 2-1 in a tournament like this is still a great showing. These are all tournament teams we’re playing against.

The bullpen is already figured out….. We have better options for Sunday than what we saw yesterday. Bakich wanted to see how each new pitcher would perform. It’s that simple. We didn’t see any of our good pitchers except for McGovern and dvorsky yesterday

Right, I just mean who will pitch where and on what days.
The bullpen frankly doesn't worry me at all. We have 5 guys I think we can really trust and another 3-5 who will also be in the conversation when healthy. You've got Titsworth, McGovern, Dvorsky, Garris, and Mahlstedt will throw every weekend and I really think we can and will lean on. I also still really like BJ Bailey and Joe Allen and they'll be in the mix. And we still haven't seen Samol or Gillen... idk why. Throw in Kissenberth, Bennett, Bell, and Moehler who are either banged up or coming back from injuries and if even one of them comes back healthy we will be in a great spot.
The arms are there. We just need to find a guy who can give us 5 innings on Sunday. I am not worried about it at all. Bakich is one of the best baseball minds in the game and Belanger is one of the better pitching coaches. They'll have it figured out by conference play.
I just don't understand why people think we just threw this game away with the bullpen... We were down 7 runs in a hurry, all the main relievers pitched on Friday and Saturday. Why would we trot out a main reliever and risk injury just to try and slow the bleeding? If this was a Super Regional you can bet your behind that we would have seen Garris, Titsworth, Mahlstedt coming in instead of Luke Brown, Jackson Cole, and Dion Brown. But let's all ask ourselves, is beating Ole Miss worth losing Reed Garris? Is beating Ole Miss worth losing Mahlstedt?

Nope it’s not worth their health. Kissenberth is out for the year I think….. Gillen has been dealing with back soreness I think….. Could see Samol this weekend with 4 games
