There was no one left and he got it to a 32 count with runners in motion. Even a gapper that gets cut off before the wall would’ve scored Dillard. Just didn’t get it done

There was no one left and he got it to a 32 count with runners in motion. Even a gapper that gets cut off before the wall would’ve scored Dillard. Just didn’t get it done
There were a couple of options left. Crighton is batting under 0.300 and has 25 K's on the year. He has almost no power. Gaffney has WAY more power. Bissetta has way more power. McCladdie has more power. There were options

I didn't realize they were out for the year, but still have Gaffney who has a helluva lot better chance of winning the game with one swing there.
