Pro Football Focus went through their safe and high-upside prospects at each position and Trenton Simpson earned the nod on the latter:

HIGHEST UPSIDE: TRENTON SIMPSON, CLEMSON
Simpson has about as ideal a physical profile as you’ll see from a linebacker. His testing numbers weren’t too dissimilar to a lot of the top corners in the draft class, except he weighs 235 pounds. That’s the profile everyone is looking for in a coverage linebacker, but we just haven’t seen it translate to the field just yet with only two pass breakups and no interceptions on 612 career coverage snaps.
