Since you are curious, here is how it works. A school reaches out to an agent to gage interest. If there is no interest, it dies immediately. No school wants to everyone to know the names of coaches who are not interested in their program. Perhaps no other schools reached out, but we don't know for sure. Perhaps CBB's salary was a disincentive as we pay top dollar for program stability.

I didn’t realize that is why we paid top dollar but it sure seems to be working. We are stable and consistent when it comes to basketball.

Even TB had a school or two come after him while he was here.
Brad Brownell is more like what Lee Trevino said he used to do. He said every week that Jack Nicklaus stayed home with Barbara, instead of playing in a tournament, he (Lee) would send her a bouquet of flowers in thanks. I suspect coaches of other schools may be doing something similar for Clemson, to keep Brownell happy here.
