When we get into the off-season we need to focus on recruiting better pitchers and hiring a legitimately good pitching coach since our bullpen can’t do Jack against a team with a pulse

Agree. If you are going to Omaha, you better have outstanding pitching which will win you more games than hitting.

Smoltz Glavine and Maddox were better than having 3 great hitters.

As you say. Time to recruit great pitchers and a new pitching coach.
