New AXIOM helmets

Saw a comment about the new helmets. My son is in 8th grade and wears one. They cost around $800 but can be worn through high school. Difference is over the base padding there is custom padding added based on a 3D scan they do of your head. They have four compression zones as opposed to the one on the speed flex version, and the face mask built into the helmet eliminates the top bar giving it more flexibility and shock absorption. Also, there are sensors in them so the coaches can see number of hits the helmet takes. I think they look great in person, but for some reason look kind of odd on tv 🤷‍♂️ Either way, they’re by far the safest helmet on the market and surprised more players aren’t using them.
