go elsewhere to greater success I would like to see Dabo slide right into the AD position (He is a great Clemson man and an asset) and see BV eventually become Clemson's next HC.

about a move w Dabo and BV. Never thought Chad should replace Dabo. But it would be a great way to keep 2 talented people. Or pay BV so much he will stay as OC.

He would be talented if he were the OC too.

only about thechad. i don't know nor care how many times you've been a party to it, i just pointed it out.
in this case, we've got a talented, fantastic hc & a talented, fantastic dc. that dynamic is hard to find and maintain, but they work so well together in those roles.
maybe dabo would be a fantastic AD, maybe bv would be a fantastic hc, but right now they're winning more games than any hc/dc in the history of clemson football.

arguably the most successful Clemson coach in history (natty champ aside, y'all calm down) should step aside, especially coming off 4 straight 10 win seasons and 3 straight bowl wins. That's a great idea.

I believe it'd be many years and post a Dabo led National title before he'd consider it and doubt BV would stick around that long. I like the idea though!

I'm not entirely sure he wants to be a HC

He's already one of the highest paid coordinators in the country. Why take on the extra responsibility? I don't get the same vibes with him as I did with Morris that you knew it was inevitable.

two of the best DCs at the time...awful Head Coaches. Sometimes I wonder if the mentality it takes to be a great defensive coach keeps you from being a Head Coach. Defensive coaches are crazy and detail oriented. Head coaches are big picture and long term.
