Muschamp preaches patience in the recruiting process ...

Muschamp is already preaching patience with the recruiting process, even as he scrambles to fill out this year’s class.
“The biggest thing is don’t make a mistake late,” he said. “I would rather bank those (scholarships) for the next year, even if it hurts you a little bit number-wise. Just make sure you are taking the right player.”
It will be interesting to see if he keeps to that philosophy as the calendar creeps closer to February and Signing Day.

Translation ., I have been laughed at ,. cussed ,., ignored ,., now I see why Spurrier and Holtz didn't waste their time recruiting ,., The good players will always have a better choice ,., The sec don't mean nothing anymore especially when you are a bottom feeder and have never won the sec or even a big bowl game in 120 years ,.,,
But thank you for this job ,. Steve said yall were loose with money ,., maybe I can ride here for 6-7 years .,
I just hope I can keep my composure trying to win with a load of 2-3 star fcs players .,

Bentley offended many head coaches during his time at Burns with poor sportsmanship by running up scores to make his high powered offense look good. Karma is a biotch. Those same azzs he enjoyed kicking so much are now the ones he has to kiss. I don't see them rolling out the welcome mat for this douch.

Muschamp is already burning bridges. He has pulled offers

on a few people including a guy from South Pointe in Rock Hill.
I have heard the kid probably isn't deserving of an offer anyway, but still not good for business if you're Muschamp.

Carvers Bay/Choppee probably has you beat, since there is no incorporated town in northwestern Georgetown County.

The wool , over Tanner and the fanbase's eyes . What a dumb hire . He probably has to wait in the lobby behind mom's seeing the football coaches over grades.

Told him he could no longer enroll early. Evaluating numbers so must wait till June.
Pretty upsetting for the kid who was graduating early specifically to get a jump start on college.
In the end, it will probably work out best. Maybe he will have a good education at App St.

It's been two weeks on the job. Even Dabo, arguably the best recruiter in college football, struggled with his first signing class. Dabo even has the advantage of already being on staff and months as an interim head coach.
You'll be able to see an impact on this next class.

https://rivals.yahoo.com/al/football/recruiting/commitments/2009/clemson-1
7-4 stars 4 3 stars and one 2 star
Dabo had already proven he could recruit to Clemson before he was hired. He got CJ Spiller when even TB didn't think it was possible. Chump has only recruited at shingle schools like Florida,Texas and Auburn.not a chithole like USuC. Now, that's honesty !

When Chump told him to wait on early entry and says no thanks and commits to App State, that is lost. Of course the recruit might have wanted a better education and to play for a 10 win team. Being the basement of the SEC is not the draw it used to be.

I'll tell you what. I'm going to bookmark this thread and after NSD I'm going to come back and we can compare muschumps class to the other new hires in the ACC/SEC. See where he stacks up.

By most accounts, CussChamp is a pretty good recruiter....

The problem is, he's a lousy head coach and to further compound the problem, he hired much of the same staff that aided in his failure at Florida.
I can certainly see why $CU fans are so excited about this hire (rolling eyes).

Dabo struggled for sure ... we had an extremely small class his first year ... it was still a high quality class ... and yet, we paid the price for our coaching change for the next 3-4 years.
You are about to find out how all that works.
