Marucci Bats

Saw a few posts during the season about the lack of pop in our bats. Not sure if it was the bat or not honestly. Curious if anyone knows how long Clemson has that agreement ? What I can find says “multi-year”.
Regardless of the brand, ya gotta get the thing off your shoulder!

I personally don’t think it had anything to do with that bats, I just think we lost that much power from the previous year.

Lack of talent and to many taken 3rd strike.

LSU and UGA both used Marucci bats. The bats weren’t the issue.

I used to buy them for a sports store that I worked at. I laughed at the rep when he first came in and then after that they were our top seller and this was in 2005/2006.
That brand has an amazing story.

I don’t think the Georgia and LSU is a good argument for the bats.

Why not? Same bats and those teams hit the ball and a lot of HR’s.

The issue was not the bats but who we had swinging them.

Actually, you have to swing them to make them work.

I don’t think it matters what brand of bat Colin Priest is holding.

He needs a bat with a shovel on the end to dig those 3rd strike breaking balls out of the dirt 😂

I’m sure they signed onto a multi-year Marruci contract. However, I wonder how the players feel about it. The money goes to the Athletic Dept and I kind of liken it to golf. Seems like players would want the option to use what feels best for their swing. On the glove side many used the AR gloves but not everyone. To me this seems like a personal decision as the top players are trying to get drafted.

The only players who didn’t use the AR gloves were catcher because they suck. They removed the Rawlings labels and glued the AR one on.
