Lukas did start and I expect he will start this week because I imagine Wiggins will be held until after the bye week

because Syracuse was throwing his way. He did a great job but you can't discount the other corner(Sheridan Jones) just because the team made a decision on who was their Waldo.

Wrong I’ve been watching his film and snaps since he committed. I’ve been impressed with Lukas due to his frame and control for being his size. Has incredible hands for a CB just watch the pick he had in the Under Armour game. Lukas has all the tools to be one of the top corners in the country. Jones has been good I just believe Lukas has the higher upside.

He could start over Jones now just my opinion, nobody is over taking CB1 from Wiggins he’s been a monster since the Wake game last year

He replaced Wiggins in the FSU game and so it's not all unicorns and rainbows. Good player and deserves to be in the rotation, but think all three are studs.

He replaced him due to injury and his coverage on that OT wasn’t bad most receivers don’t make that catch

Wiggins and Lukas are boundary corners

Jones/Pride are field. I think Jones does just fine. Syracuse went away from him most of the time which is telling also but boundary is going to get challenged with the bigger receivers. Really need Lukas to gain the confidence and experience to be the boundary of Wiggins is out for extended period or departs to the NFL after this season as most project.

Dabo has been high on Lukas for as long as he has been a commit to player. I think with any young player you have to judge his mental moxie with his playing ability because a bad play or day can hurt a players confidence. Then game by game and situation by situation, the coaches want to have best match-ups and experience with ability and have all the two deep plus ready just in case. Its a lot to manage in game planning and then through the chaos of the game.
I think Lukas has been used wisely in ramp up fashion due to youth and injury recovery. Now the coaches and the player knows he can go play the game freely and make plays with confidence in both directions.
Doing same with Parker and Barnes. Its a great situation.
During the first half at Syracuse, Jones was a step behind a tall Syracuse WR with no safety over the top. He wisely held the WR and the pass was incomplete but he got the PI. Dabo walked onto the field and said "Man what are you doing - you're a freaking Senior" Jones gave him a thumbs up and nodded several times. like he was saying 'Yep I AM a senior, Touchdown saved mission accomplished.'
When Dabo talks about having capable depth, that is when he is not worried about who starts. He is wanting to have three at least and four or five if possible dudes that can be rotated keeping them fresh and giving the defense a big edge in second half of games.
Don't get too hung up on who starts and who doesn't just enjoy having multiple guys that can go get it done anytime.
