Has 125 acre campus according to Google which seems quite small, and is a private institution. You think it will eventually go back to a college setting or will they will have to sell it and pay off their debts to some developer.

Once they disband it would probably be hard to go back. If it was in the suburbs of a large city I could see some company purchasing it for a facility but Gaffney is kinda off by itself.

Perhaps apartments, city or recreation department, office space, warehouse space or retail stores.

to 30 acres tops....maybe they're counting the depth of the the quarry which is/was reportedly nearly a mile deep in some areas.

They may also be including the baseball field, soccer/lacrosse fields, football
