Is he leaving us for greater opportunities ? Or did we suggest that he leave ? Can anybody shed more light on this "mutual decision" ???

i took it as he had something better lined up and was headed that way. but honestly do we really need a DE coach when we have eason?

Yea never understood the need for 2 coaches there, but never been in the profession so know very little on the why it’s needed.

Exactly why not let eason handle the full line and hire a special teams coach or a true linebackers coach and let porkchop just worry about being a coordinator

Dabo said it was a mutual agreement. What does that tell us? Did Dabo give him a chance to leave without be fired or did Hall give Dabo an out from him wanting to leave for another school. Did we not lose Bates to Oklahoma?

We have 10 coaches. He leaves and Eason takes over the entire D-line and we get to add another coach for a greater needed position group. Like an OC in tbe booth to work with Riley.....Jeff Scott. Stay by your computers!!! He is gonna be a paid staffer very soon.

With the long-term success of our D-line, I would be hesitant to change the formula. Let's find an excellent DE coach to come in and carry on our tradition of being great there.

He needed to be shown the door a long time ago. He may be a great human being, but player development and coaching were lacking. He was a weak link.
Mike Reed, on the other hand is what a stud position coach looks like.

24/7 has him ranked the # 4 position coach in the country. Of all of the positions on our team, I would think D-line is ranked # 1.

One thing for sure though, Our tigers are consistent on defense regardless over the years. We are so blessed just need the O line to be the same. Go Tigers
