That is called the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon or the frequency illusion. Once you become suddenly aware of something you begin to see it more often because it’s fresh in memory storage. I never payed attention to how many Chevy trucks look like mine until I bought mine. Now I see them everywhere I go. Something subconsciously has you paying more attention to Porsche vehicles. It’s a survival technique hardwired into our DNA. We seek out patterns and our unconscious mind has more power than we know.

Money off brand recognition by slapping their logo on SUVs for moms as opposed to being a specialty car manufacturer.
