Interesting info about FSU Rev Share contracts

Looks like FSU is adding details to contracts that agents were not expecting like fines for 'Banned Substance Abuse' and players that lose sports equipment. Adding clauses for sports performance and injury clauses that prevent playing.

Ha! In other words, the wild west is being reigned in and players are being presented with actual contract instead of bags of money. Unfortunately this will lead to a players union as all schools can scope their own contracts as is. The day will come where players want equal contracts if they transfer meaning there will be a players union just like the NFL, time just hasnt caught up yet.

Here is ine article pointing at Rev Share contract changes.

Yes. Collective bargaining in "College" Football is inevitable. By the way, they really need to stop calling it College at some point.

More Rev Share breakdown by sport. This is expected breakdown of $20.5mil by per player by sport. I am sure this will end up in many other lawsuits. For instance, suggested avg for football player will be $140k vs softball player $3k. I am sure someone will start suing for equal shares.

Without collective bargaining I'm not sure how any of this will hold up in court honestly.

One of the articles I read said that most the front loading of NIL for top players will come from the Collectives as the Rev Shares will be contractual. That said, Collective Bargaing will not be far behind as we know Title IX will be part of some lawyers scheme to make money.
