If I am Graham Neff

I think it is best not to ruffle any feathers my first year, but it is also important to require everyone to earn their jobs all over again. In this scenario, I imagine we would see a lot of promise in this basketball program, being that we only lost by 2 points to 2 of the premier programs in the conference. To me/ him, the rest of the losses appear to be 1 offs and not likely to occur again in the future. I imagine he/ I think(s) that he/ I will look like a genius in a couple of years when I/ he extend(s) Brownell's contract through 2028.

You can remove Butler from your list.
Not only was she gifted an even bigger clunker than the other two, but she just signed what is probably the best Clemson women's basketball recruit in the last 15 years if not ever.
That player alone signing with Clemson shows that she is at least making a push toward improving the program.

Keep Butler and Monte at this time. I have no problem letting Brad go. 3 NCAA tournaments in 12 years is not good enough to keep your job. He should be in top six with two new coaches, one fired coach, several teams rebuilding. Look at what the Wake coach has done in only his second year. Brad is missing necessary pieces to be a winning coach in the ACC

Not likely to occur again in the future?!? Apparently you missed the NIT home loss to Oakland where Clemson had a 20 point lead. BB followed that up with the gem of a choke against BC at home this year. The large leads blown at two games at Charleston and at Miami. It's never going to change so longs as BB is the coach.

Although I like Monte, he has not produced and has not coached as well as I thought he would (base running, timely hits, pitching decisions). I think this year will determine his fate at Clemson.

Baseball is a difficult recruiting task in the face of limited scholarships and schools with huge endowments to lure the best players.

Is the real answer not to fire Dabo? Isn't he the one that is screwing up the curve for the rest of the athletic department? If we dump him, hire a mediocre coach and run middle of the pack with an occasional meaningful post season game (that we tank in), everyone can lock arms and sing Kumbaya.

I think Neff has to take a serious look at Brownell and the bball program. I think Monte Lee is recruiting well, but it needs to start producing results. To be fair, I believe 2020 was an Omaha team, off to a 17-3 start, I believe, and the pitching was phenomenal. Unfortunately, the season was canceled. I do think this team will be better than advertised, but again has to show. I like Butler. I think she will improve the women's program. She was handed a mess.
