are really poor...
1) Selling over-priced dippin dots, but no real ice cream!
2) $3 for a hotdog doesn't sound too bad, until you realize it's only a weiner on a bun!
3) $6 for a soft drink is really ridiculous!
4) Why not offer a Smoking Pig barbecue sandwich! If you're just going to have meat on a bun, that would be hard to beat! Folks would gladly pay 7 or 8 bucks for that!

Did they go up on the hot dogs, always been $2 . Atlanta Falcons have the best customer service as far as not ripping a family a new one on concessions. Sure the food snobs will check in with the “i only eat Whole Foods hot dogs crap” but it is hard to beat a Carolina Pride hot dog at a baseball or football game with some mustard and ketchup.
I guess one of the few things that hasn’t changed in Death Valley since the 80’s is the concessions , but I’ve usually already before the game so something to drink and a dog is about i ask for

This needs to be the next major stadium overhaul. It really is sad and outdated. Why not Skins for hot dogs, chick fil a, smoking pig, chipotle/Moe’s/QDOBA for nachos/tacos, Todaro for Pizza, etc.

As long as that contract is in place, Clemson can only sell Aramark food on campus. Aramark has no motivation to improve their selections because they have no competition.

unregulated bazaar. You should be able to buy anything when there are 80,000 people. There should be hot dog cart derbys, there should be turkish street food.... there should be 85 spices in piles on the concrete.... people selling bootleg DVDs. Let the market decide.

Totally agree. Every post game when I get my glad you attended email wanting feedback, I complain about the concession prices and selections. All venues need to pattern themselves after the Mercedes- Benz in Atlanta. Fan and family friendly. Great selections with incredible pricing. After spending hundreds of dollars just to get in the game, it would be nice to spend a reasonable $$ amount on food and beverages. The profit margin is astronomical. The only investment on soft drinks is the cup and the ice. Coke basically gives the liquid away for advertisement. We all know how much a case of water costs. No more than $ 5.00 at the highest priced convience store. $4.00 fo a 40 case package at Sams or Costco. That’s a lot of profit in a 3.00 bottle, even with delivery factored in. $9.00 for dipping dots; that’s 2 half gallons of premium ice cream at the grocery store. Heck, you can even get a pint for $ 7.00 at Bruster’s. Can’t help to believe that more people would spend more $$ if prices were lower and the money spent would not be that far off.

at every sporting event. Basketball used to have freshly popped popcorn but now it's just warmed up stale stuff.
The warm pretzel I got recently at a soccer game was one of the worst I have ever had. Very hard in spots, soggy and gross in others and very little salt.

They could have taken all the money or at least some that they spent on making rich people comfy and built a food court an let a The Hut Taco Bell MicDonalds and others set up in there but they would never do anything like that cause someone else would make a dollar. Why not line the Tiger Walk with them and let folks go out there during game to pick something up

at a Charleston Battery soccer game. They have Coastal Crust pizza, Home Team BBQ, a taco truck, Mac Daddy's mac 'n cheese, Wicked Weed Brewing, and a lot more. And the prices are reasonable. Of course I could be a little partial given that my son works for The Battery, but still they have a great game day setup.

100% spot on! Wake and Duke offer much better options with food trucks. Local restaurants need to have locations within DV and it’s also time to start serving beer. The ACC Championship and Bowl games do and it’s never a problem for my family. If we’re going to spend $600 on tickets at least have a Smoking Pig option and a cold beverage option.

Been this way for years and years. Somehow or someway there is a connection with Aramark that has deep Clemson ties. Only answer that makes sense. Clemson administration takes absolutely NO pride in their concessions and never has. It's a disgrace.

if you're going to be food snobby
and before you diss the food you missed a peak Clemson football concession - it was Pizza stuffed Pretzels from the mid 2000s
and tailgating with Fatz Cafe was another classic
and Hooters before that ( i think . i was just a young kid but remember hooters for something)
now it's just Aramark
