15 out of 85 is 17.6% of your scholarships when you have 5 out of 22 playing O line compared to the O and D (which is 22.7%) but does not take into account kickers and special teams..... how many scholarships do other schools give to OL?

22.7% of 85 is 19.3.... so are you saying we should have 19 OL on scholarship? Thats almost 4 deep.

I can see 16 or 17... but no way 19.

14 - 18 OL is the average. Clemson stays around 15 and I could see 16 but probably not more than that.

That means 1 less QB or 1 less WR or 1 less LB or 1 less ...

all our peers carry more than 16.....the ones who consistently have dominant OLs. Sure it means one less somewhere else...don't seem to hurt the WR, LB, QB production at those other schools. OL is very difficult to project. 15 leaves you razor thin....it did this year for us for sure....

Our peers (BAMA, UGA, OSU are 18+). Pittman OL guru & HC at ARK typically carries 20+.

15 is too low, IMO, and it really rears it ugly head when you have a few unexpected injuries

If CLEM had been CONSISTENTLY dominant at OL at 15, then OK. But that hasn't been the case. No reason not to be elite at OL at a school like Clemson.

lol. Maybe not last year or so. I would compare over last decade...

Those schools are peers when we aren't shooting ourselves in the foot and utilizing our strengths to their fullest....
