Any bad mouthing of this team. This team over achieved and gave us quite a few exciting moments this year. One that comes to mind is we are ACC champions 2023 and no one can take that from us. The trophy is in the case for all time. Yes we ran out of gas at the end. The difference in us advancing was pitching. I have no doubt that coach B will address this as fast as he can. I see nothing but improvement for Tiger Baseball. Go Tigers!!

We had an inexcusable, embarrassing regional. It is ok to to not be positive about such a negative. Great season, but will go down as a historical letdown. I am not satisfied with the season.

I would agree with you if we were in year 4-5 of Bakich but there’s no #### way you can honestly say you expected what this team was able to do… this was one of the most fun baseball teams to watch in a long time. We beat ourselves in the 9th and 10th inning or we would be set up perfectly. The things that we did so great fundamentally just we seem to not be able to do this weekend and maybe that was the moment or whatever but they def regressed as far as situational baseball. Either way it was a hell of a season and I am not disappointed at all now that iv had time to reflect a few minutes … I fully believe Bakich will build this program to Omaha aspirations every year and I don’t think we will do anything but get better the next couple years. Go Tigers ! I for one am thankful for the moments this year bc at 2-8 in the conference I was waiting for the Braves to come on to flip the channel, and the opposite happened later in the season. Can’t wait to see the future of this program unfold under Bakich, hell of a coaching Job!

I understand, but being a host means you earned it. Winning 17 in a row and sweeping the ACC means you earned it. I'm not giving a pass because a first year coach with tremendous talent underperformed on the big stage. We should have done better and years at the helm is of little importance. Next year is no guarantee we will be better with Caden out.

It was not an appropriate seeding. Not even close.
That said, the game was still ours for the taking and we didn’t get it done.
That’s on us.
We really need to boost our pitching off season. UT staff was absolutely loaded.

I disagree valley, I felt that we would run into better pitching as we moved into post season, and we did. This team overachieved this season. I didn’t feel embarrassed or mad at all. I never felt CU would be in Omaha this year. Staff has done a tremendous job with what they began the season with. Will go farther next season!

I too thought the season was outstanding. Realistically, the way we started, when we were 17-14 is probably not too far off of what kind of team we should have been. We have talent, but our pitching was behind and the players had not really yet jelled. What came after our start was simply amazing. Our pitching was light years ahead later in the season, but still not good enough to quite get us over the hump. I expect next year will see a much better pitching staff, but still maybe not quite to the point we need it to be. I sure would have taken an ACC Championship prior to the season starting.
