I don't really keep up with former players but does anyone

know if there's a legacy OL recruit out there that Dabo could take a look at. We seem to really need some help on the OL and we seem to like offering Clemson men.

Tommy Sharpe's son is supposed to be a nice one in a couple of years. He is a nice guy. He is a little smaller than his dad, so he should be quicker.

A legacy recruit named Tommy, what could go wrong?

Tommy Sharpe was a good one too. We need more like him. 6ft and 240 lbs centers are tough to come by.

I truly believe our OL will be a strength over the next 4 upcoming years. We need to land some DT's though next class to ensure that is a strength as well imo.

Well you have to recruit then and sign them and we just started doing well the last couple of years. It's nit just about wanting it and not landing the players. I never thought it would be a strength until we started signing them. It's looking like the OL will be a strength in a year or two.

Were these scholarships that backfilled portal guys who left the team??
If so, Why were they put on scholarship?
If not, Why were they put on scholarship?

Here's a fun idea to ponder

All the coaches sons/children are given free tuition. Why are any of them on scholarship? I know, they "earned" it, but really just further roster mismanagement.

And their parents are worth millions. They get free tuition with multi millionaire parents. You would think that coaches would want an extra scholarship player.

offensive line recruiting has actually gotten much better over the last several years. Lots of young size and talent.
This isn't a Brad Brownell-wait-til-next-year kind of point. With 19 linemen with 13 underclassmen on the roster, losing 1 and getting 2, we actually have the talent on the roster.
It just takes a little longer for the majority of olinemen to contribute in substantial ways.
Tough (overly negative?) crowd!

Tony Lazzara's son is a high school junior.

He's 5'9" and 155 pounds, but really nice, says "yes sir" and "yes mam", and never misses an FCA meeting. Could be what the Dr. ordered up front.

I have heard about him, as have most of us of course. He can kick with either leg equally well. He was about to be offered, but he was caught with an All Lives Matter t-shirt, so he is out, sadly.
