Yeah, and her dad's first cousin is Dr. Eddie Floyd, who is a major coot behind the scenes (he's the one that kept talking about Lou/Skip in the papers last year). My mom is first cousins with Allyson's dad and Dr. Eddie as well. The Floyds from the Pee Dee region are split down the middle when it comes to CU/USC (My granddad went to CU the same time as Banks McFadden). Allyson is a really nice, laid-back person, and she's always been that way (she was a couple of years older than me). It's cool that she kept her maiden name for the TV gig. I don't live instate anymore, so it's always a surprise to see her when I visit the relatives.
