We went from 4th in ESPN/USA Softball to 5th and we're 29-1 - one of only three one loss teams (#1 Oklahoma, #3 Tennessee). UCLA, ahead of us at 4th, is 27-3.
I don't get that. Oh well. Play it out, keep winning, and everything will take care of itself, as the Man says.
Looking forward to playing Florida State. That game will be HUGE. I'm glad we have them at home!

Yep. That and we didn't dominate uva the way our ranking would indicate. But mostly sos by playing cuse and uva and our midweek cupcakes. Tough scheduling since a new team. Look forward to it increasing in the future.

Figured it was something like that, but I didn't want to be left out in expressing Tnet outrage at something. Brownell and football stuff have been done to death. Thought I'd try something new

Just want to stay top 8 in the committee’s eyes so we can get to host the super regional this year. Still not over us being sent to Tuscaloosa for the regional in 2021 as ACC regular season champs.

UCLA just win back-to-back series against #9 Washington and Cal who's in the "others receiving votes."
We were also just tied for 4th with Tennessee (not alone in 4th) last week and they jumped up a little after sweeping #12 LSU last weekend.

Pollsters more likely putting all their eggs into that Strength of Schedule basket. I wish they would take strength of TEAM THAT IS WHIPPING EVERYBODY into account, but I guess that's too much to ask in this metric driven age.
