Who didn't get invited to the Heisman ceremony?
The more that I think about it, the more insane it is how well Cade played this season. He has protected the ball masterfully while often capitalizing on big plays.
I mean this is literally one of the top 3-4 Clemson QB performances of all time. Maybe even the 2nd best season of all time.
Does anybody care to do a deep dive on whether this is the best season of all time from a Clemson QB? From a pure stats standpoint?

not to take away from Cades season. it's been amazing and he's third in my books to these two guys .
and for both those guys, they had played in two national title games by the end of their junior years

With 15 or more picks. Don’t get me wrong DW4 is one of the greatest Clemson webs ever but stat wise CK is better

Lol no he doesn't. His qbr and comp percentage is way better then Cades. Yards and tds Cade is better tho

Turned it over. Very careless with the ball but made up for it by being a straight up magician.
Hard to say Trevor and Deshaun didn't have better seasons, but they were surrounded by MUCH MUCH better talent and coaching. From a pure QB performance standpoint I still think this season is up there.
Do you think it's fair to say this is the 3rd best QB performance of all time?

He will almost certainly lead us to another conference championship next season.
Looking at his stats, I'm of the belief he very well would be in this Heisman ceremony had he scored a last-minute TD against the coots rather than a tipped interception.
Amazing season so far.

I was genuinely shocked when the report came out yesterday of the 5-10 finalists and Cade didn’t even make that list. Astonishing how the QB who’s ranked top 5 statistically doesn’t make that list.
Especially considered his stats are better than some on that list, is the QB of a conference champion & CFP team.

wr and rb talent and experience relative to the Watson and Lawrence years, the pressure on Cade lately to carry this team in the running games and the passing game when everybody knows we have to pass, it is quite impressive that he hasn't turned the ball over more than he has.
We're going to have to be creative in the running game next Saturday. Would love to see more receiver motion and jet sweep action, but...

Both on the ground and through the air.
He's certainly capable. Maybe we can show them some different looks and get 15-17 serviceable carries out of Mafah, Adams, and EZ.
I think Cade will need to air it out 40+ times to give us a chance but we have to keep their LB and Safeties somewhat honest with the run game.

If TL and DW didn’t win the Heisman at Clemson, it just ain’t gonna happen. Maybe because Heisman coached at Clemson? I have no idea what the problem is. Even the chicken pen has a Heisman

Given the sheer number of passing yards and the fact we won the title, but Cade is absolutely no worse than 5th best QB season of all time when you look at TD-INT ratio, rushing TD and yards, etc.
When you consider that Cade has FAR, FAR less talent and coaching around him than those teams, it is even more impressive. I am comfortable saying this is the 3rd-4th most impressive pure QB performance of all time for a Clemson QB.
