Our baseball will finish off the series at FSU this afternoon and today's game is huge. I see posters moan about this or that decision the Coach Bakich makes but in truth, he has done an amazing job this year. If you look at today's starting lineups, our leading hitter has a .301 average compared to Florida State having starters at .420, .414, .373, .331 and .312. Give our kids and coaches a huge congrats for being in the hunt for a host spot in the NCAA and that is quite an accomplishment.

If our best hitter is at 301 and no one else above 300, how is that great coaching ? Sounds to me like poor coaching , we have gotten worse hitting as the season has progressed

Exactly, the hitting...mainly with runners on has been atrocious. To me it looks like to many guys look to try and walk instead of hit. We let more balls go down the heart of the plate than anyone without lifting the bat
