Ain't that pretty. Speaking of being on top. All Cody had to do is birdie the par 5 17th and the trophy is his. Either way, he's been playing good consistent golf. Hopefully he'll try the kft next year.

Rough start for Sam ......+3.
Great work for Jacob on his opening round. Except for Lucas, the problem our guys have had all year is stringing rounds together or somehow limiting the damage when they are not playing great. Let's hope that Jacob reverses that trend and will at least be in the hunt on Sunday!

Thanks for posting . Glad to see someone else posting on golf. Sam's bad round is getting better. Cut now at +2. But as you said, Sam's got to string together 3 fabulous rounds. I think a t2 would get him close to the top 30... and possibly inside it.

Our American Gals could NOT have had a better start . . . Leading 4-0 after the Opening Round of Foursomes (Alternate Shot). They will play 4 Fourball Matches this afternoon . . . and repeat the process on Saturday before playing the Singles Matches on Sunday.

Thanks and they sure did. Read an article on golfweek about Charlie Hull showing up late. She wasn't playing but apparently the captain wasn't happy about it.
On another note, Alice and her fiance are headed to the valley tomorrow!!! Pull em thru Alice.

Jacob, missed both par 5's on the front. Most are birdeying 4. But he's struggling with his nemesis today, his driving. He was sticking it yesterday. Today he's battling it and having to scramble.
Still, not bad. Ding dong is just having one of those days. Eagle par 4s. Hopefully Jacob can make a couple birdies coming in. I kinda thought -10 would lead after today... but then it's a pretty big drop-off after a few up top.

and finished the day @ 2 Under Par and is currently, though it probably won’t hold, in the Lead @ 8 Under Par.
Sam has started well . . . and needs to finish strong!!! He is sitting flush on the Cut Line, 2 Over Par.

Jacob is paired with “Ding Dong” on Moving Day . . . Let’s hope this news frees him up and lets him play stress free . . . Like giving a thoroughbred it’s reins or not gripping a race car’s steering wheel too tightly . . . Would be lovely to WIN this Week!!!
