Gamechicken Week always reminds me of Coach Howard's prayer after Clemson won the 1981 Championship:

Coach Frank Howard:
“Thank you, Lord! That was such a wonderful experience! I am so glad I was able to see Coach Ford and the Tigers win that championship!! Please tell me, Lord, will the Clemson Tigers ever win another football National Championship?”

God:
“Yes! Clemson will win more football National Championships. But not in your lifetime, Frank.”

Coach Frank Howard:
“OK. Thank you, Lord. I can accept that. Now, one more thing. Will the South Carolina Gamecocks ever win a football National Championship?”

God:
“Not in My Lifetime, Frank.”
