For argument's sake, do you think Michigan would have given

Us a better game in the Fiesta Bowl? They strike me as the exact same team is Ohio State, just less Playmakers on offense. Still I'm going to assume we wouldn't shut them out but I think we still roll easily

People need to face it, Clemson was the best team in the country in 2016. We are the Champions, no matter who they might put us up against. Not JMO, but proven on the field.

There isn't any doubt in my mind we were the best team in the country. No other team in the country could have let Bama get a two TD lead and come back in the forth quarter and score 21 points to beat them, no team. Clemson, regardless of how we played the beginning of the season can't erase the way we played in November. In November is when the coaches put all the pieces in the right place, and our team never looked behind them to the way they played early. They felt and played like the champions they showed that they were. The right team won the 2016 NCG. To be the best, you do have to beat who was the best, and Clemson has already done that!!!

I do think it interesting to ponder how the real big champ penn st would have done. I love that they didnt get the chance though given that their program should have been shut down post Sandusky. Loved seeing them lose to usc.

What? Their program had nothing to do with that sick ####.

The NCAA had no right to punish Penn State like they did, it was a criminal matter, not athletic.
If any program deserves to be shut down it is UNC, they're blatantly cheating academically for the athletic program.

I have thought about this.
Having watched the Team Up North game, I thought Michigan was the stronger looking team. So, yes Michigan would have given Clemson a harder time. Does that make them give us a better game?

They wouldn't have scored either, though.
