We are not the only ones and we likely will not be the last. But we have a better chance of getting him if he makes a visit than if he doesn't visit. A visit is a big step for our team

Would fill a need and send a message. Dabo has it mostly right. Just tweak portal strategy, def don’t want to go crazy here. And NIL money for 1-3 5 stars each year

FYI, we tried very hard to get a transfer player (a Center) before the start of 5he 2021 season. The guy was originally a West Point cadet, then did so well at West Point that he thought he might have a NFL career; he then transferred to UVA, which was then winning well under HC Bronco Mendenhall.
The player’s name is Ogendenku (or something close to that). After Mendenhall departed at end of 2020 season, Ogendeku decided to transfer again; this time the portal was in effect. We competed against Michigan; he went to MI and then went to the NFL.

Dabo wasn’t lying when he said that Clemson actively seeks portal players, but only those who represent both a talent upgrade at a position of particular need -&- the right fit culturally. Hardly anyone on THet recognizes this.

I find this entirely believable though I have no recollection of it. So, with your reminder of Dabos criteria, which i did recall, what is the impediment for bringing them in.
