For the sake of argument, if the ICE agents were to wear calming blue or green outfits with large picture ID badges would you be ok with ICE removing illegal aliens?
Do you support mayors and governors who publicly state they will NOT cooperate with the federal government to remove illegal aliens?
How many criminal illegal aliens has Karen Bass in LA or Brandon Johnson in Chicago removed?
While I agree there have been excesses committed by ICE, when you have local and state officials loudly stating they will not assist ICE, Hakeem Jeffries promising to identify all the ICE agents, and anarchists shooting and assaulting ICE agents, perhaps it is reasonable that these agents are incognito.
Let's say you worked for ICE presently. Nothing would prevent you from unmasking or wearing ID. Would you do so in the current environment especially if you have a family?
I wouldn't.
