Field of Dreams game

I watch very few MLB games now, but this game in the cornfield on Fox is pretty interesting. They did a great job on this ballpark with so many retro features.

Other than the center field camera angle on pitches, it’s not bad.

It’s almost directly behind the pitcher. Probably wouldn’t be that big of deal if we weren’t so used to seeing it a little farther off center.

Agreed, this has been a pretty cool broadcast. Enjoyed the pregame & the way the players entered the field from the corn fields

Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones were great.
And it was Burt Lancaster's last film. I liked
the film since of course a lot of it was about
Greenville native Shoeless Joe Jackson and his
White Sox teammates. And the plot twist of being
the first to emerge from the corn made us think
Jackson was the "he" in "he will come" when it
was actually his father he got to bond with at
the end was classic. A real feel good flick.

MLB spent some serious money building that new stadium just beyond the original field that was depicted in the movie.
