but something tells me he is a plug and play kinda guy.
With him getting on being on campus by January, I think he'll pick up the playbook quick and be a starter by the first game of the season.

Yea we've always discussed the idea of recruits coming in and actually playing in the national championship game to give the team that final push it really needs.
I'm really feeling good about this being the year and him being the recruit that breaks that barrier!

5 star players are supposed to have the physical abilities to come in and start right away.
But you never know If the player can adapt to college football or learn new systems. You don't truly know their work ethic or character.
You never know if they will adapt to academic requirements as student.
So even if they afte 5 stars there is a chance tne kid just won't pan out.
Amari would be classified as an 8 star at least.

I think we signed another 5* (pardon me for posting serious response)in Tanner Tessman. Always mystified me why kickers and punters (the top 2 or 3 each year) are never given 5* status. Critical positions for any football team.

Tessman may turn out to be one of the great kickers but you don't usually get a star unless you play High School football. ??

these recent one-and-dones we've been getting recently will do to the game. CJ Spiller, Vic Beasley, pretty much our whole DL last year, and now Amari. It could have a terrible impact for any school not named Clemson.

a very poor decision to leave this year. he just didn't do much to strike an interest. He needs to come back and be all he can ( no injury ) and really get noticed. It was a smart move.Higgins . .what does he need to prove? I'd love him to come back, but . .

He'll be a great influence in the offseason ( along with Ross ) for Ngata , Ladson and all of the younger guys vying to see where they fall .
It's always great to have qualified senior leadership .
